Tips & tricks

Check out these few tips for the best results:

  • When whisking the pudding mix and milk, make sure to mix thoroughly to avoid any lumps. If you find any lumps, a quick whisking or using a hand mixer can help smooth things out.
  • Before folding in the whipped topping, give the mixture a taste. If you like it sweeter or with a stronger liqueur flavor, you can adjust the amounts to your preference. Don’t add too much alcohol though, or the shots may not set with the proper pudding texture.
  • I know it’ll be hard to wait for these tasty little treats, but don’t pull them out of the fridge too soon! They really need to chill so they can set well.

Food pairings

I love to serve these dessert shots with cookies! They’re so tasty with chai snickerdoodles or baileys chocolate chip cookies. For a salty sweet combo, serve with some buttery popcorn or a charcuterie board.

Other treats like cinnamon sugar donuts and a big slice of Baileys Irish cream cheesecake would pair so great with Rumchata pudding shots.

And these would be a fun treat for Christmas or New Year’s. These champagne jello shots would be delicious with them!
