Tips & tricks

Not to toot my own horn, but I’m somewhat of a pro when it comes to tasty margaritas! If you’re having trouble making these perfect, then check out my tips:

  • Don’t make frozen margaritas until you are ready to serve them! They’re best when they are made fresh, otherwise they can begin to melt and become watery.
  • If you’re using frozen berries, you may need to run the blender for a longer amount of time. This will help ensure the berries are fully incorporated into the drink and no large chunks remain.
  • Did you run out of margarita mix? Make just enough for this recipe by combining 4 ounces lime juice and 4 ounces simple syrup

Food pairings

Serve these fruity margs with chips and queso, some hearty guacamole, or a delicious salsa. Some shishito peppers with garlic aioli would also be a tasty snack.

For game day parties, these virgin margaritas would go great with air fryer chicken wings or gooey mozzarella sticks.

Some whipped feta dip and fried pickles are great snacks to eat with a yummy strawberry margarita too.
