Whether you’re gearing up for a night out or hosting a cozy evening at home, these Taylor Swift cocktails are the perfect sips to transport any Swiftie through the various eras of the star’s storied career.
Taylor Swift’s favorite cocktail
In her Vogue 73 Questions interview in April 2016, Taylor Swift said her favorite cocktail was a Vodka Diet Coke, a drink similar to a Rum & Coke but with vodka in lieu of rum and Diet Coke for the cola.
But the Vodka Diet Coke has been replaced. Tay reportedly ordered a French Blonde cocktail as her “drink of choice” when she visited the restaurant Rye in Kansas City on a girls’ night out with friends in December 2023, according to Page Six.
The French Blonde version on Rye’s menu features Tom’s Town Botanical Gin, Lillet Blanc, fresh grapefruit juice, St. Germain elderflower liqueur and a garnish of fresh thyme.
What to serve with Taylor Swift cocktails
What should you make to go with these Taylor Swift drinks? Taylor’s favorite foods, of course.
In the same interview that revealed the Vodka Diet Coke, she also admitted that her favorite food was, “If calories didn’t count? Chicken tenders.”
At Rye, where Taylor enjoyed the French Blonde drink, she and her friends also enjoyed the restaurant’s homemade cinnamon rolls for dessert, a favorite of her beau Travis Kelce.
Of course, you may want to make some of Taylor’s favorite recipes too, such as her famous chai cookies or the colorful Milk Bar cake she enjoyed for her birthday.
