½ ounce orange-flavored Irish whiskey, ½ ounce peach schnapps, ½ ounce sour mix
Shake the mixture thoroughly, then strain it into a 1.5-ounce shot glass.
If your shot glasses are 2-ounce glasses, you can add a splash of lemon-lime soda to the shots for extra flavor and fizz and to fill up the shot glasses.
½ ounce lemon-lime soda
Notes
Ingredients
Make homemade sour mix by combining ½ cup lemon juice, ½ cup lime juice and 1 cup simple syrup. Makes 2 cups.
Orange tea martini: Double the recipe and strain it into a martini glass to make a refreshing cocktail.
Batching
If you're making these shots for a crowd, you can shake up to 6 shots at a time in most standard cocktail shakers. For 6 shots, use:
3 ounces orange-flavored Irish whiskey
3 ounces peach schnapps
3 ounces sour mix
The whiskey, schnapps, and sour mix can be stirred together ahead of time and stored in a bottle or airtight container in the refrigerator. When ready to serve, measure out 1.5 ounces per shot, then shake and serve as directed above.
