Ice Cream Making Essentials

All this talk about the end of summer and going back to school always comes with a last-ditch effort to fit in every summer activity. For me, that always means making a lot of homemade ice cream. In North Carolina, August is one of the hottest months of the year, and it always reminds me to stop procrastinating and finally pull out the ice cream maker.
