The cheese plate essentials you need to host your next dinner party!

Nothing is better than a cheese board. Except maybe a giant, table-sized cheese board. Trust me on this. Last month, my pals from Charlotte Food Bloggers organized an evening of tasting — we tasted salts at a local spice shop and wines at the next-door wine shop.
Everyone brought a few things to make the biggest potluck cheese board I’ve ever seen. We filled up an entire dinner table with an abundance of cheese, crackers and accoutrements. I guess that’s what happens when you get a bunch of food bloggers together. I’m still dreaming about that cheese board, and I’ve decided that it needs to happen again soon.
Cheese boards are a wonderful party appetizer, a quick meal and an easy picnic treat. In France, they even eat cheese for dessert, or just before dessert as a course all its own. I’ve compiled a list of cheese board essentials for you so your next one can be better than ever. (I hope it’s dinner table-sized!) // susannah
Would you like to save this?
P.S. Not sure what cheeses should go on your cheese board? I’ve got you covered.
