Thanksgiving has come and gone already. How?!
It seems like just two seconds ago that I was making Sugared Cranberries and Apple Cider Moscow Mules for my family!
Our first married Thanksgiving was so much fun! My parents came over and we made a turkey and all the fixings. There’s so much to be thankful for this year.
Did you get any Black Friday shopping done? How about Small Business Saturday? And tomorrow is Cyber Monday already! Time is flying.
Thanksgiving was late this year, so there’s less time to get in all that shopping before the winter holidays.
Just in time, I’ve got another gift guide for you in my 2019 Holiday Gift Guide series.
So far we’ve covered gifts for the cocktail lover and gifts for the travel lover, and today I’m hitting on another one of my favorites: the foodie!
Foodies who like to cook and bake love to get new kitchen gadgets and upgrade their gear. It’s the perfect idea for the holidays!
Take me for example: One thing that was apparent to me while cooking Thanksgiving dinner was that I desperately need to upgrade some of my cooking and baking gadgets.
Like, my favorite spatula has a crack in it! And my baking mat I use for rolling out pie crust has a hole in it! And my pastry blender is bent and on the verge of breaking.
Honestly, I will probably run them into the ground before I replace them, but if anyone out there is listening… *wink wink*
If your foodie is anything like me, they are due for some upgraded gear or some new toys to play with. Check out my 2019 Holiday Gift Guide below for some gifting ideas.

Must-Haves for Cooks
These things are what every home cook needs!
We have loved trying our favorite recipes in the air fryer. It makes delicious, crispy food that's on the healthier side.
These are kind of silly, but I love mine. They even light up so you can see what you are salting or peppering!
Skillet cooking really changed the game for me. We love using ours for everything from weeknight meals to giant chocolate chip cookies.
A good meat thermometer is key if you are cooking temperature-sensitive things like steaks or burgers. We have this one and it's so handy!
A great blender is key to everything from smoothies to sauces.
Baker Must-Haves
Every baker should have one of these on hand!
This remains one of my favorite Christmas gifts to date. If your baker doesn't have one of these yet, they will be sure to remember you every time they use it!
Our pantry is stuffed with a set of these, and they are so handy. I use them for essentials like flour, sugar, brown sugar, rice, popcorn and cocoa powder!
Oven mitts should be upgraded every few years, in my opinion. They can get so dingy and dirty, and even a good wash can't save them after a while. An upgrade to these homemade mitts will surely be welcome!
I don't think I could live without these spatulas. This set would go with me to a deserted island as one of my five things! I use it for everything from cooking scrambled eggs to scraping the last little bit of brownie batter out of the bowl. It's so handy!
This is my favorite spatula for getting cookies off the baking sheet! It's so thin and does a great job.
These mixing bowls also come with measuring cups, a sieve and a colander! It also comes in a rainbow set. So fun especially for small kitchens!
I don't bake cookies without one of these mats underneath!
Cake bakers and cookie decorators will adore having some more options for icing tips! This set has everything they could possibly need.
A gorgeous ceramic jar will take any countertop to the next level. Perfect for coffee, sugar, salt, tea bags — whatever your foodie needs at arm's reach!
Ingredients They'll Love
Quality ingredients make for better final results! Always.
Vanilla is expensive, so it makes a perfect gift for any baker.
This easy-to-make sea salt is a perfect homemade gift for any foodie!
Extra dark baking chocolate is always a hit with bakers!
Homemade Lavender Sugar is a fun and delicious homemade gift your foodie will love.
We use this to try different coffees, and it's our favorite. If your foodie is also a coffee drinker, they'll love trying out some new beans every month.
These vegan marshmallows come in all kinds of flavors and are so much fun in everything from hot cocoa to s'mores! They are great snacks on their own, too.
Homemade Irish Cream is great in everything from cocktails to icing, and is so delicious at the holidays. Your foodie will adore this!
Things They Might Not Have Yet
Your foodie might already have everything, but do they have THESE?
This measuring cup is awesome for measuring hard-to-measure ingredients like peanut butter or shortening.
If your foodie has a grill, this box will help them up their game with a smoky flavor.
An ice cream maker is important for every single foodie! This one also makes sorbet and frozen yogurt.
