Prepare oatmeal with water and salt according to package instructions. (Mine gets microwaved for 1 minute, 30 seconds.)
Top with brown sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin purée (if using). Let cool for 1-2 minutes. Stir together to combine. Top with pumpkin seeds. Serve hot.
