Half an hour before you plan to serve the shots, chill the shot glasses in the freezer.
Add Licor 43 to a chilled shot glass, filling it ⅔-full.
Hold a bar spoon upside down just over the surface of the liqueur. Slowly pour heavy cream over the back of the spoon so it drifts onto the Licor 43 and forms a distinct layer on top.
The finished shot should look like a tiny glass of beer, with golden liqueur beneath and a creamy “foam” floating above.
