This fresh and zesty avocado salsa is packed with creamy avocado, juicy tomatoes, and bright lime flavor in every bite. It comes together in minutes and is perfect for scooping with chips or spooning over tacos, grilled chicken, or fish.
Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Place the green tomatoes, peppers, 1 garlic clove and onion in the basket. You can drizzle them with a bit of oil for extra flavor, or leave them as is. Air fry for 10 minutes, until slightly charred.
8 medium green tomatoes, 2 whole Serrano peppers, 2 cloves garlic, ½ medium onion, ½ teaspoon olive oil
Remove from the air fryer and let the ingredients cool for a few minutes, then transfer to a blender.
Add the remaining 1 raw garlic clove, avocado, cilantro and lime juice.

Blend until smooth, or pulse for a chunkier consistency if preferred. Season with salt to taste, and blend until combined.

Yield: Makes approximately 2 cups.Oven variation: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the green tomatoes, peppers, garlic and onion on a sheet pan in a single layer. Drizzle lightly with oil if desired. Roast for 15–20 minutes, flipping once, until the vegetables are softened and beginning to char in spots. The tomatoes should change from bright green to a darker green, yellow or lightly browned.Serving suggestions: Pair with tortilla chips, nachos, tacos, grilled meats or even eggs for a flavorful kick!
