This homemade vanilla bean syrup is rich, smooth, and infused with real vanilla flavor. Perfect for coffee, cocktails, pancakes, and desserts, it adds a warm, sweet touch to any recipe.
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup water
Remove from the heat, add the split vanilla bean and let steep for 30 minutes.
