Fill a rocks glass with ice.
Add dark rum or vodka, coffee liqueur, tiramisu syrup and half-and-half. Stir to combine. Alternatively, combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well, then pour into the glass.

Garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder and a ladyfinger cookie, if desired.
1 whole ladyfinger cookie, 1 pinch cocoa powder
Notes
Milk options: Half-and-half is the sweet spot — heavy cream makes this drink milkshake-thick, and regular milk is too thin. That said, use whatever you have or prefer.Spirit options: Dark rum makes this taste most like tiramisu. Vodka is a classic white Russian choice and works great too — just a little more neutral in flavor.Make-ahead tip: The tiramisu syrup keeps in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, so you can make it well in advance.
