Strawberry Bourbon Smash
Sweet strawberries, fresh basil and smooth bourbon come together in this easy, crushable summer cocktail that's as flexible as it is delicious.

Ingredients
- 3 whole strawberries diced
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1 ounce honey syrup
- 4 to 6 leaves fresh basil
- 2 ounces bourbon whiskey
- 6 pieces ice cubes for shaking
- 1 cup crushed ice for serving
- 1 whole strawberry sliced, for garnish
- 1 sprig basil for garnish
Instructions

Notes
Variations: Swap bourbon for any whiskey, or try gin, tequila or rum for a fun variation.
To make honey syrup: Combine honey and warm water in a 1:1 ratio and stir until dissolved.
