Step into a tropical paradise with a vibrant Pineapple Margarita, blending the sweetness of ripe pineapple with the zesty kick of lime and tequila. It's perfect for summer soirées or sunny afternoon escapes.
Pour some salt or sugar on a plate. Rub a lime wedge around the edge of a glass. Roll the rim of the glass in the salt or sugar to coat the rim.
To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add tequila, triple sec, agave nectar, pineapple juice and lime juice. Shake well.
Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a piece of pineapple and a slice of lime.
Notes
Make it a mocktail:Use a zero-proof spirit that mimics tequila, like Seedlip Grove 42 or Ritual tequila alternative, in place of the tequila. For the triple sec, use orange juice or a non-alcoholic orange liqueur like Lyre’s Orange Sec. If you don't have these alternatives, you can omit the tequila and triple sec, and increase the amount of pineapple juice and lime juice to taste. You can also add a splash of soda water for fizz.Make it skinny: Instead of triple sec, use a splash of orange juice. Use less agave nectar or substitute your favorite sugar-free option.
