These mini pigs in a blanket made with crescent dough and cocktail sausages make for an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer that's ready in under 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to the temperature indicated on the crescent dough package, usually around 350°F (175°C).
Open the can of crescent dough and unroll it. You'll have 12 triangular pieces.

Cut along the perforated lines to make 24 smaller triangles.
Place a cocktail sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll the dough around it.

Brush each wrapped sausage lightly with beaten egg.
1 to 2 large eggs
Sprinkle poppy seeds over the top.

Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
Bake 15 to 18 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauces.
