freeze-dried strawberry slices

granulated sugar
Instructions
With dry hands or a mortar and pestle, crush the dehydrated strawberries into a powder.
Add sugar and strawberry dust to a bowl or jar and stir or shake together until evenly distributed.
Store in a food-safe, airtight container for up to 3 months.

Tips & tricks
Use granulated sugar so you get the brightest pink color.
Keep your strawberry sugar stored in an airtight container.
If the sugar becomes hard, you’re not out of luck. Soften the sugar by microwaving it in short intervals.
