Homemade Chili Lime Seasoning
Make Homemade Chili Lime Seasoning to add to the rims of cocktails or to season your food. Makes 4 ounces.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons lime zest from three limes, or crystallized lime powder
- 2 ½ tablespoons coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons ancho chile powder
- 1 tablespoon chipotle chile powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to one month.
Notes
For a longer-lasting spice blend, you can substitute crystallized lime powder for the lime zest can substitute.
Spice notes
It is somewhat spicy but could be spicier or less depending on how you like it. You can add more sugar to balance if desired.
To make it milder, use mild chili powders to make it less spicy.
