This four-ingredient strawberry shortcake recipe uses fresh berries, jam and whipped topping in a fluffy dessert shell. It requires no baking and very little prep! It's the perfect quick, low-effort dessert for parties.
In a small bowl, gently toss the sliced strawberries with the strawberry jam until evenly coated. Set aside for five minutes to let the juices release slightly.
1½ cups fresh strawberries, 6 tablespoons seedless strawberry jam
Place the dessert shells on a serving plate. Spoon a layer of the strawberry mixture into each shell. Top generously with Cool Whip.
Finish with an additional spoonful of strawberries or strawberry jam, if desired. Serve immediately.
