Preheat the oven to 375ºF (191°C). Prepare a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. (Alternatively, you can use any from-scratch brownie recipe.) Using a spatula, spread the batter in a thin layer over the lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and cacao nibs. Bake for 10 minutes.
Rotate baking sheet, turn the oven down to 325ºF (162°C) and bake for 10 more minutes.
Rotate baking sheet, turn the oven down to 300ºF (149°C) and bake for 10 more minutes — until crispy.
Remove from oven and allow to cool before transferring to a wire rack to harden. Break into pieces.
Repeat steps 2 to 4 with remaining batter. Store in an airtight container.
