Combine the vodka, ginger liqueur and fresh lime juice into a champagne flute. Stir together gently.
Pour champagne until there’s about an inch of room from the top.
If desired, add a few drops of ginger bitters on top of the champagne before serving.
Garnish with a lime twist, lime wedge or lime wheel.
Notes
Any kind of dry sparkling wine, such as cava or prosecco, will work instead of champagne. Look for “dry,” "brut" or “extra brut” on the label.Room-temperature citrus is easier to juice than cold, refrigerated fruit. Set citrus fruits out on the counter for a couple of hours to warm up before juicing them.
