a saucepan, spoon and your choice of container with lid (mason jars work well).

1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
makes: 3/4 cup
ingredients
Place in saucepan over medium heat.
Stir mixture until all sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
Let mixture cool for 5 minutes.
Stir gently until everything is combined.
The syrup is good to use for up to one month.
Try in coffee, tea drinks, cocktails and more.
Simple syrup dissolves quickly, especially in cold beverages and has uses outside of drinks.
