2 ounces bourbon whiskey 1 ounce simple syrup 1 ounce lemon juice 1 egg white, optional 4 drops Angostura bitters, optional lemon twist, for garnish cocktail cherry, for garnish

Load your shaker.


Add whiskey, lemon juice and simple syrup into your cocktail shaker.

Cool things down.


Add ice to the cocktail shaker and replace the lid,

Shake, shake, shake! 


Shake well to ensure ingredients are combined.

Pour and serve.


Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon twist and cocktail cherry.

Make it a Boston sour.


Grab the same ingredients, plus an egg white.

Dry shake.


Place whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white to a shaker WITHOUT ice.

Ice, ice!


Remove lid, add ice. Cover and shake again.

Strain and top.


Strain into a coupe glass and add a few drops of Angostura bitters to the foam.

Add some pizzaz!


Use a toothpick to draw through the dots. Garnish with a lemon twist and cherry.
