a saucepan a mason jar or bottle with a lid
Prep Time: 10 Min
3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup water 4 mint sprigs (about 40 leaves)
makes: 2 cups
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water and sugar.
Stir until sugar is dissolved, watching carefully so the mixture doesn't boil.
Take the saucepan off of the stove. Add mint leaves.
Let your mixture rest for 15 minutes, or longer is you prefer a stronger flavor.
Once you've infused for the desired amount of time, remove the leaves from your syrup and discard.
Keep your mint simple syrup for up to one week in a jar with a lid. Add to cocktails and more!
