A naturally sweet addition for cocktails

Honey Simple Syrup

Honey doesn’t dilute well in cocktails, so make a honey simple syrup that’s sweet as, well, honey. It’s easy to make and makes a naturally sweet addition to any cocktail, iced coffee and iced tea.

a saucepan and stove a mason jar or bottle with a lid

Prep Time: 10 Min

1/2 cup water 1/2 cup honey

makes: 1 cup


Warm your water.


Add your water to a saucepan over medium heat.

Sweeten things up.


Add your honey to the water in the saucepan.

"Bee" patient!


Stir together until the honey is fully dissolved, about 5 minutes.

Let it cool.


Let your "runny honey" cool prior to using. Try in cocktails, iced tea and iced coffee.

Save and enjoy!


Store in an airtight container for up to one month and enjoy in your drinks!
