tasty floral cocktail

Elderflower French 75

The Elderflower French 75 is a floral take on the classic champagne cocktail with lemon, gin and St. Germain elderflower liqueur.

let’s get started!

what you'll need

a cocktail shaker liquid measuring cup or jigger festive glasses

Prep Time: 10 Min

1 1/2 ounces gin 1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur 1/2 ounce lemon juice 4 ounces prosecco, champagne or sparkling wine — chilled lemon twist, for garnish

makes: 2 cups

ingredients

White Scribbled Underline

Measure gin.

01

Choose a gin with fewer juniper notes that will pair better with the elderflower liqueur.

Measure St. Germain.

02

St. Germain is a liqueur made from elderflowers, with a delicate floral taste.

Squeeze lemons.

03

Fresh squeezed lemon juice is my preference, but you can also use store-bought in a pinch.

Shake it up!

04

Add all your ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.

Add to festive glass.

05

Pour from the cocktail shaker into your glass.

Top with champagne.

06

To pair with the floral St. Germain, I reach for a dryer, more brut champagne.

Garnish and enjoy!

07

Add a lemon twist (optional) and raise a glass! This drink is perfect for celebrating any occasion.
