a saucepan a mason jar or bottle with a lid

1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 water
makes: 3/4 cup
Place your sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir your mixture until the sugar is dissolved. Make sure it doesn't boil!
Remove your syrup from heat and let it cool completely — be patient!
Store in a mason jar or container with lid for up to one month.
This syrup is great for hot or cold drinks, like coffees, teas and cocktails!
