Try one of the best St. Patrick’s Day cocktails this weekend! From Irish whiskey to Irish cream, there’s so much to love about these drinks inspired by the Emerald Isle. Don’t forget to wear green!
Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
Truthfully, it’s never been one of my favorite holidays.
Given that my birthday is just a few days before, my birthday celebrations have often been looped in with St. Patrick’s Day weekend, and I have grown to resent it a little bit.
Or maybe a lot.
I mean, the crowds are often intense. And there’s so much green beer. (Seriously, why does it have to be green?)
And do I have to wear green? (It might be my favorite color, but I like choices. Don’t pinch me!)
St. Patrick’s Day can still be fun though. After all, this is pretty much a travel-inspired cocktail blog.
And if parades and big festivals are your thing, I will not stop you from checking out the celebrations in Boston, Savannah or Chicago (or, hey, Ireland) on St. Paddy’s weekend.
I bet it would actually be pretty fun! I’d do it once. Maybe.
Personally I would rather stay home and whip up one of the best St. Patrick’s Day cocktails. Wouldn’t you?
Whether you’re celebrating quietly at home or throwing a big party, I want to know:
Do you have your drink menu ready yet?
If not, I have rounded up a few of the best St. Patrick’s Day cocktails — just for you!
There’s everything here — all sorts of drinks flavored with our favorite Irish staples. There’s Guinness beer and Irish whiskey and, as always, plenty of Irish cream.
There’s even an appropriately green mocktail for the non-drinkers at your party. (And a green cocktail too!)
I’d love to know if you try anything on this list! Slàinte!
