Say hello to Katie from Twin Stripe on the blog today! She has some awesome travel tips for you.
Hello Feast + West readers! I’m excited to be back today while Susannah is traveling in South Africa. Today I’m sharing my favorite carry-on travel essentials that are perfect for a quick weekend jaunt or an overseas adventure.
1. Facial Towelettes, Yes to Cucumbers, Drugstore.com // 2. Cat Travel Wallet, J.Crew //
3. Orange You Glad, Woven Pear // 4. Flight 001 Travel Emergency Blanket, Bed Bath & Beyond // 5. iPad Mini 3 in gold, Apple // 6. Minimergency Kit, Pinch Provisions, Sephora // 7. Urbanears Humlan Headphones, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Stylebop.com // 8. Bon Voyage Travel Journal, Rifle Paper Co., Leif Shop // 9. Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, KIND Bar //
10. Luggage Tag, Kate Spade // 11. Shea Butter Hand Cream, L’Occitane, Nordstrom //
12. The Getaway Duffel, Ban.do
I’m loving Ban.do’s new heart covered duffel. It is the perfect size to carry-on the plane or pack up for a quick weekend. When packing for a trip, I load up my iPad with books, magazines, podcasts and music to make travel go by faster. I also bring a travel journal along to chronicle my adventures and keep notes. I pack a healthy snack, like my favorite Dark Chocolate Sea Salt KIND Bar to hold me over until I reach my destination. Air travel can be chilly, so a travel blanket and a pair of fun socks are great ways to keep warm. I’m loving the new Woven Pear socks that feature bright and colorful designs. A rich shea butter hand cream and a facial towel or two are the perfect way to freshen up when you reach your destination.
Now that I have shared my essentials, what are your travel essentials? What do you pack in your carry-on? Be sure to stop by Twin Stripe for more travel, DIY and entertaining ideas.
