Kitchen Road Trip: Rhode Island

Kitchen Road Trip: Rhode Island // Feast + West

Rhode Island is one of my favorite states. I visited once as a kid and again when I was looking at colleges. I fell in love with the cobblestone streets, Federal-style architecture and moody seascapes. Eating fresh seafood and exploring shops in Providence will forever be engrained in my memory, as will a lengthy drive through the fancy mansions of Newport. The items in this  Rhode Island gift guide remind me of the nautical aura surrounding those trips for me.

Hope you had a great weekend! I’m recovering from a great trip to Missouri for my friend’s wedding. It was amazing to spend time with her friends and family, as well as explore St. Louis for the first time. The celebration itself was gorgeous, but freezing cold! All good fun, though. Here’s to a great week ahead! // susannah

P.S. Can you believe this is the 40th Kitchen Road Trip? That means there’s only 12 more until the end of the year! (There will be 52 in total.)

The Kitchen Road Trip series is a virtual ‘trip’ to a different state. Posted weekly on Mondays, each post is a gift guide to items from a different state, in alphabetical order, and features food & drinks, books, home goods and travel items.
