Lately I’ve been dreaming of France. That’s not unusual at all because I am a dedicated lifelong francophile, but it’s been occupying my thoughts more than usual these days. Instagram always helps me to soothe my desires, though, by providing me a means to drool after the pops of color and quaint scenery I associate with France.
Some of these photographers are English-speaking expats and others caption their photos in French. My French is mediocre at best nowadays, but I think it’s kind of nice to just take in the power of an image alone.
