I always wondered why New Jersey was called the Garden State. And then, last summer, I drove through it and passed nursery after nursery, garden after garden, farm after farm and it all started to make sense. Agriculture is New Jersey’s third largest industry. I also drove through some adorable small towns, so different from the industrial, urban image I’ve always carried in my mind. Anyway, I love pretty pink things in this New Jersey gift guide! I’ve got a few more items that didn’t make this guide over on Pinterest. Check it out. And happy Monday! Let’s all agree to rock it out this week. // susannah
The Kitchen Road Trip series is a virtual ‘trip’ to a different state. Posted weekly on Mondays, each post is a gift guide to items from a different state, in alphabetical order, and features food & drinks, books, home goods and travel items.
