Another busy week for the books. It’s a shame that I’ve been stuck inside working and not out in the gorgeous weather we had this week. (I still can’t believe we had eight inches of snow on the ground just a week ago!) This weekend I’m celebrating my friend’s 25th birthday, going to a concert with my mom and hopefully getting a chance to relax without looking at my computer! Sometimes, especially when I’m really busy like I have been, I crave setting aside a few hours to just create something with my hands. I was thumbing through my old Instagram photos the other day, and was reminded I should start up my calligraphy practice again. Maybe I’ll get to that this weekend! Anyway, below are my Friday Finds, some of the best things I saw on the Internet this week. // susannah

Tunes for the weekend
I am obsessed with this brilliant compilation album from the Red Hot Organization. Not only does ‘Dark Was The Night’ feature a ton of indie artists I love, it also benefits AIDS/HIV awareness. It was released in 2009, but that hasn’t stopped me from listening to it over and over again ever since. Lately, it’s been something I’ve enjoyed playing while I work, as it keeps me calm and collected when I have a lot to get done. (‘Train Song’ is one of my favorites!)
