Kitchen Road Trip: Arizona

arizona-cover-604

Happy Monday! I hope you did something fun this weekend. I spent Saturday in the kitchen with a dear friend making cocktails. (Coming soon!) It’s been chilly in Charlotte but, as of now, there’s no rain in the forecast this week and it might actually warm up some. This week’s Kitchen Road Trip brings us to Arizona, and if anything, that should send us some warm thoughts.

A few years back, I drove through Arizona on a family road trip. We made a quick stop at the Grand Canyon, and it was so impressive. I remember thinking how amazingly small I felt. I am dying to go back for more than a couple hours. I haven’t, unfortunately, spent any time exploring other spots in Arizona, but I’m in luck because I owe a visit to my aunt in Phoenix! I’d love to check out Sedona, too (pictured above).

If Arizona has as many bright colors and patterns as the items on this list, then I think I will like it a lot. I had to put together an Arizona-themed color palette for a client’s logo last week, and researching this KRT helped a ton. Anyway, hope this list warms you up a little… // susannah
